Patrol Division (OCPD)
Divisional Rank Authority


    High Command


Commander:
    Promote officers.
    Dismiss officers of any rank.
    Invite officers (to the group).
    Pay officers with money given by Director.
    Issue unlimited fines to insubordinate officers.
    Manage relations with the Federal Services Agency's divisions.
    Manage relations with the government and other government agencies.


Deputy Commander:
    In control of the patrol division should the Commander be unavailable for an extended period of time.
    On par with the Commander, beside the requirement of informing the Commander first before any changes are made.



    Command


Major:

    Dismiss officers of lower rank.
    Demote officers of lower rank.
    Issue fines of up to $20,000 to any lower ranked insubordinate officer.
    Promote up to the rank of, Senior Lead Officer, with prior Commander approval.


Captain:

    Issue "OCPD" public announcements.
    Perform HSIU patrol without proper training.
    Issue fines of up to $15,000 to any lower ranked insubordinate officer.
    Request a search warrant from the government (Must post in section upon completion).


Lieutenant:

    Perform SVU patrol without proper training.
    Become Head of a secondary unit within the division.
    Suspend officers up to the rank of Staff Sergeant, indefinitely.
    Grant HSIU permissions to Lead Officers and above with training.
    Revoke an officer's ride-along permissions under his/her discretion.
    Issue fines of up to $10,000 to any lower ranked insubordinate officer.



    Non-Commissioned Officers


Staff Sergeant:
    Go on unmarked Alpha patrol.
    Grant SVU permissions to Police Officer IIs and above with training.
    Issue fines of up to $5,000 to any lower ranked insubordinate officer.
    Suspend officers up to the rank of Senior Lead Officer, for the maximum of 2 days.
    Request an arrest warrant from the government (Must post in section upon completion).


Sergeant:
    Go on marked Alpha patrol.
    Initiate a roadblock without permission.
    Use the M4 Assault Rifle in situations requiring it.
    Become Deputy Head of a secondary unit within the division.
    Issue permissions to lower ranked officers requesting roadblocks.
    Issue fines of up to $2,500 to any lower ranked insubordinate officers.
    Issue basic disciplinary action to any lower ranked insubordinate officer.


Senior Lead Officer:
    Call, 10-1s, to sort out patrol units.
    Perform given Field Training Officer duties.
    Manage situations containing lower ranked officers.
    Grant general patrol permissions to Police Officer Is (If no Alpha unit is on duty).
    Request permission to initiate a roadblock for the use of traffic stops/checkpoints.
    Authorize the use of the MP5 in disabling tires of an evading vehicle to Police Officer Is (Must be in the chase).


Lead Officer:
    Call "OC-SWAT" to any scene (Must be on scene).
    Undergo High Speed Interception Unit (HSIU) training.
    Take a ride-along with him/her during patrol (Must be an "OCPD" applicant).
    Authorize the use of Special Transport Vehicle (STV) patrol to Police Officer Is.
    Apply for the "FDI" division (Note: You will be removed from the Patrol Division).
    Apply for the "OC-SWAT" division (Note: You will be removed from the Patrol Division).


Police Officer II:
    Request a badge number (MUST, section).
    Undergo Special Vehicles Unit (SVU) training.
    Patrol in a vehicle without first requesting permission.
    Apply for one secondary unit (Recommended, section).
    Use the Remington Pump Shotgun in situations requiring it.
    Use the Heckler & Koch Sub-Machine Gun in situations requiring it.
    Report criminal incidents for the Federal Investigations Division (FDI) to investigate (Must post in this section).


Police Officer I:
    Reception Duty without permission.
    Issue parking tickets to civilian violators.
    Issue tickets and/or fines to civilian violators.
    Arrest criminals in the Federal Services Agency jail.
    Respond to 911 calls upon getting vehicle permissions.
    Request permission to patrol under Romeo 4, Special Transport Vehicle (STV) patrol.
    Patrol in general patrol alone upon getting permission from a Senior Lead Officer or above.
    Patrol on foot around or guard, FSA HQ, under Romeo patrol without requesting permission.
    Use the Heckler & Koch Sub-Machine Gun in pursuits if approved by a Senior Lead Officer or above.
    Post a situation report as soon as code 0 or officer down concludes, if highest rank on scene (MUST, section.)
    Patrol in general patrol if no higher ranked officer is on duty, but must stop upon superiors' change in duty status.



Note: As one climbs through the ranks, authority of the prior rank(s) still apply. Read AND Understand (R&U).
